What is Mokume Gane?

Mokume Gane is a Japanese metalworking technique which has been adapted for use with polymer clay. Strategic slices are made through layers of clay and metal leafing to produce these designs.

They have so much color and depth! You will never grow tired of looking at them. Each piece has been polished and varnished for protection and beauty!

No two mokume gane pieces are alike.

Now you can wear a kimono all the time! These pins measure approx. 1.5 inches high wide and a bit more than 1.5 inches high. They have been enlarged to show detail. The photos do not do these pieces justice. The matching earrings are below.
